PPP, PML-N need to strengthen democracy: Gilani

PPP, PML-N need to strengthen democracy: Gilani ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani today called Pakistan Muslim League-N leader Mian Nawaz Sharif to convey his wishes and congratulations on his (Nawaz) birthday.

Talking to Nawaz Sharif, the premier said that the government would soon give good news to the nation about removal of dictatorial amendments made in the Constitution.

He stressed that both large parties will have to work together to strengthen democracy and democratic institutions.
