PM, Punjab CM agree to continue reconciliatory air

LAHORE: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani and Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif agreed to continue the atmosphere of reconciliation, Geo News reported Saturday.

The meeting which took place at the residence of the PM Gilani, lasted for nearly one hour. Both the leaders mulled over the overall national situation.

The PM said the government respects judiciary and good governance is highly vital under the present circumstances, adding the measures will be taken up to provide people with the relief and necessities of life.

The Punjab CM said the recent judicial ruling should not be looked upon with political viewpoint, adding the law should be the same for all.

The supremacy of law and their implementation is the hallmark of the cultured societies, he added.
